Our house has been on the market for three days and we've already had 8 showings booked. I'm really hoping this is a good sign and that we will get an offer soon to ease my worries! I really need to relax about the whole thing, but knowing that I will no longer have a job after the first week of March makes me anxious!
It's the Friday before Christmas and we are excited to have Lynne, Dean, Mike, Tina, and Rosie's boyfriend coming to town for the holiday. It's going to be a lively week! This Christmas is especially meaningful as we will likely be far away next holiday season. I wonder how we'll decorate in our flat. Sean won't have a whole house to cover in icicle lights and wreaths next year- so I guess that means more $$ for libations! I also wonder what it will be like to live where it is certainly cold this time of year. We've fluctuated from 38 degrees to 79 degrees this week. It's downright warm out there- too warm for me to sport my elf costume for the annual Trace Creek Light The Night event!
My goals this week are to keep the house in sparkling condition and to worry less about the situation.... oh yes- and to receive an offer for the house. Clearly, I am not yet attaining my goals.
